Okay, so let the reprimanding begin...

I know it's been forever and a day since I've done anything and I sincerely apologize. I guess you could say that there has been a lot of things going on. Let's see. The day of Andrew's party James got a call about a job interview in Knoxville for that Friday. He went up there and did the interview and the day we went to Andrew's school for orientation we were offered the job! That meant we got to move to be closer to James' family, which had been our goal since before we found out I was pregnant with Paisley! So hooray! Then there was the moving! Oh, the moving. So much to do in 2 weeks. Yes, that's right, we had 2 weeks to get our house all packed up and get out to TN to live. When we had not prepared for it. Nothing was packed and James worked until 2 days before we left. Several long nights and some wonderful friends that helped us! Thanks so much guys. So now we are in Maryville, TN which is just outside of Knoxville. And since we needed our house to sell we moved in with our wonderful family! The craziness of having a family of 6 bombard you! Cathy and Brooks, you are the best!!! So we got Andrew all set up in the school that Cathy teaches at and got Emma back in speech. Celebrated Emma's 4th birthday and James'. And my 30th!! I know, I look so young! But I guess you could say I'm wiser now?! We had Thanksgiving here, a WHITE Christmas, and then went to good old Russellville for a quick visit on New Years. Oh, and we sold our house in the middle of November. Brody has learned to eat baby food, roll over, scoot, crawl on hands and knees, and pull up on furniture. And he also has recently started walking along the furniture. I'm just waiting for him to start walking! My baby is growing up!! So Andrew is excelling in school! He loves it so much! And Emma's speech is so much better! James is LOVING (and that's an understatement) and I'm having fun living back in a bigger city with so much to do!! The first month that we were here we had something to do every weekend. And there is still stuff to do every weekend, but we have decided not to kill ourselves! I promise pictures of said events eventually. More posts to come!

So to the present things that have come to pass. Andrew and Emma have both been signed up for Soccer. Yes, I will be a soccer mom! They both have their first game this Saturday. So with them both being on different teams it might be a race to see where we are going! The good thing is that Emma's games are always at 9:30. We are still waiting to see times for Andrew's, so hopefully there will be enough time that we can get to both. So Saturdays for all April and one in May. Paisley has been signed up for gymnastics. She had one free class and yesterday was her first official class. She has such a blast! Can't wait to see how she does! And for the bigger news!! (No, I'm not preggo!) We bought a house!!! And we have been sleeping in it for almost 2 weeks. Funny thing is, it's the house right next door to Cathy and Brooks! Cathy has been trying to get us out here for so long and now that we are here we are going to be close!! I mean real close. It's been really nice to be able to walk next door to get something or take the kids over to play and vice versa. We got all new furniture, since we gave all of ours away, and we also got a cool swing set to put out back! That is a work in progress and is almost done. Then on to the fence so the kids can roam out there free range! Haha! Couldn't resist that! Cathy bought a trampoline and put it in our yard since ours is a little flatter than her's. Not by much, but just enough. So that's pretty much a run down of what has been going on in our life. I'm sure that I will remember some things that I have forgotten that in time will come out in more posts. But for know I think I'll add a few pictures to make everyone happy. And like I said I'll post a plethora of pictures at a later date! Sorry for the long time in between posts and I'll try to be better!

Andrew's first day of school in Russellville. He only had 2 weeks there.

This is Mrs. Kelley. His teacher in Russellville. He often says that he misses her. Wish we could have gotten to know her better!

My Cheesy husband! Love him so much!!

The both of us out on Valentines day! We still have yet to go out for our Anniversary! 7 years!!! Another post!

My little man! Hasn't he grown up so much!? I so love that smile. Makes me melt!

My cutie girl Emma! Love this little miss prissy. She has become quite the girlie girl. I even got her some press on nails the other day. It was too cute to watch her be careful with them!

The most recent of all 4 kids! This is in the boys' room of our new house!

My 3 ragamuffins! They found a dirt pile to play in at Cathy's house! They were about to get a bath! Hahaha! This picture makes me laugh. They were so dirty!

And last, a picture of our new house! This was a couple of days before we actually signed the papers. We were a little excited!

Andrew is 5!!

My little baby is 5! I can't believe it. He starts school this year and is SUPER excited. We found out who his teacher is today. And got his physical and shots. (Yes, he cried, but he did really well other wise.) Yesterday we had his birthday party at a place called Hog Wild. It's sort of like a Chuckie Cheese, but add mini golf and go carts! Way fun! He had a blast! He got the coveted Batman cave that he's been asking about for MONTHS. And he got an Iron Man (which he loves) and a remote control garbage truck (that wanted to give me a hug before bed tonight, ha ha) And lots of other fun stuff! (Too much to mention.) I'm so glad that this little man came into my life! He makes it fun!

Andrew and Will (the only boy).

A lot going on...

It seems that there has been a lot of things going on in our household. It's been a little crazy, but it's been fun too! We were very lucky to have family in for several weeks after Brody was born. And we were able to do his blessing as well. What a wonderful day and a wonderful blessing by his dad.

Uncle Mark and Grandpa with all the kids except Paisley, who was napping.

Uncle Mark's girlfriend Holly holding Brody.

All who were involved in the blessing.

The blessing outfit made by my mom.

Then after that the kids and I went on an impromptu trip to Tennessee to see my wonderful sister (in-law) since she had been unable to come and see Brody when he was born. We spent a week out there and just got back from a fun, but exhausting week of swimming, the zoo, Dollywood, Parrot Meadows (a parrot rescue place), Wonderworks (fun hands on museum), and a magic show. It was a blast. I'll have to get pictures of that trip some other time. For now here are some pics of the kids!

Emma getting in on the pictures.

A little smirk. I got him to actually smile at me while in Tennessee, but only have a picture on the phone. I'll get one soon!

They're giving me the crazy eye!

Look a picture with Brody's eyes wide open! Haha!

Me and the girls. Picture taken by Andrew!

These two love each other! Even though they pinch each other.

These two are two peas in a pod. Very similar.

See they really do love each other. And I do realize it does look like a choke hold. My little wrestler Emma.

On another note, Andrew lost 2 teeth. Yes that means that he's growing up, but I didn't expect the teeth thing to happen this soon. On the day that we blessed Brody, Andrew showed me that he had a loose tooth. Within a couple of days we noticed that the tooth right next to it was loose as well. While we were in Tennessee, he came up to me and his tooth was sticking straight out so I pulled it with no problems. And today he came in a told me that I needed to pull his other tooth. Since we were away the Tooth Fairy didn't visit and I had forgotten about it the last couple of nights so I guess we will do the Tooth Fairy thing tonight.

The cute toothless smile! Love it!

First bath

It's been awhile since I've blogged so I'm catching up a little. In my defense there has been a lot going on. Anyhow, Brody got his first bath on the 15th. And like we always do, we documented it with some pictures. Here are some of the good ones and then we have a video.

Okay so I didn't realize there was a knife right above his head. Oops! But this is the beginning of the bath.

Somewhere around the middle of the bath. We covered him so he wouldn't get too cold.

And this was while we were rinsing his hair.

He looks like a little Jedi baby! All wrapped up and smelling sweet!

This is the first time that I have given a bath that went that smoothly. He just hung out and enjoyed it. No crying or fussing! It just shows his personality. Real easy going.

Brody's arrival

So this will be a long one with lots of pictures. Maybe not so much typing! But here's how it all went down. I was scheduled for induction on the 9th. The night before was Andrew's last T-Ball game and so I went (being the good mom I am) and the whole time was very uncomfortable and having contractions. This got me thinking that he was going to try and come that night. We went home and I was able to rest while still having some contractions, but nothing ever ramped up. So James and I went to bed and set our alarms for 5 the next morning. When the alarms went off I got up and showered then around 5:30 I called to find out if I was going to be able to be induced. (If they have a full house they won't do it!) They told me to be there at 6:15 and we could get things going. I was super relieved and started getting a little nervous. I know I've been through this 3 times before, but it's always nerves and excitement. We showed up and got everything all hooked up. Dr. Escue came in around 7:20 and checked me and the broke my water. At this point I was at 3-4cm. The following friday I had been 2-3. So I was working on going into labor. I continued to have contractions. I got my epidural a little before 9 and life was good! Around 10:15 I was dilated to a 7 and 10 minutes later it was a 7-8. Things went fast from there and Brody arrived at 10:58. He weighed in at 9lbs. 3oz. and was 20 3/4in. long. And like all the Saniger babies in our little family, he has a full head of hair! All things are good right now. He did have to go back to the hospital a few days in a row so that we could check his bilirubin levels. But that wasn't a stay overnight thing. They did find a heart murmur and we will be seeing a cardiologist sometime in the next couple of weeks, but as of right now it doesn't look like it's anything serious. They just want to make sure that everything is okay. It's a common thing in newborns for them to hear a little heart murmur and then have it close up. So we might get up there and they'll say that it's all gone. I'll keep everyone posted. But anyway here are all the pics I promised. And I'm sure there will be more to follow!

Going to the hospital.

Last belly shot. I was about to get hooked up to everything.

He's here! All 9 lbs and 3 oz!

The kids meeting him for the first time. They sure do love him!!

Pretty boy!

Going home outfit.

Emma and Andrew came up to bring him home.

Emma wanted to hold him first thing. She REALLY loves her baby brother.

Paisley had to do what big sister was doing. She really loves her brother too!

Paisley's birthday

For Paisley's birthday this year we decided to have her party at a jump place here in town. It had 5 different blow up things for all the kids to run around in and just have fun. A major part of doing it there was because I was super pregnant and didn't want to have to worry about cleaning the house just to have it destroyed and then having to wonder if we had enough room to accommodate everyone. All in all the best money we've ever spent. The kids had a blast and I didn't have to clean up afterward. Plus it was inside so it wasn't super hot. Of course we brought the camera with us, but it somehow got left in the van. So here are a few from James' phone. It's hard to believe that my little girl is 2! And one things for sure, she is DEFINITELY 2. I still love her though and know that this too shall pass! Ha ha. She really is a sweet girl and she was a wonderful surprise. I love my little Paisley!!

Here she is eating her cake. Such a cutie!

This is the AWESOME Backpack cake that a friend of ours made for the party. She did such a great job and it was yummy too!

Daddy and Paisley going down the slide. She had so much fun with the slide that eventually she would crawl up there by herself and slide down. Brave little girl!

Opening presents.

And a Backpack of her own!

Playing in the mud

Today I let the kids play in the sprinkler. I didn't imagine that it would turn into a big mud puddle for them to play in. I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I figured that they would play in the water and get a little grassy. I didn't think about them turning the sprinkler upside down and holding it inches from the ground. But they had so much fun playing. And of course it was followed by a bath. They were pretty muddy. Here are a few pictures from their day of mudding.

This was before they realized I was taking a picture of them.

I couldn't get both of them to look at me at the same time.

Stomping around in the puddle.

Emma eating her popsicle. I don't know how she got the little mud goatee, but it was pretty funny. You can't really see it in this one, but the other picture I took was too blurry and I got tired of trying to get her attention. I'm glad that they both had fun though. Every kid should get to play around in the mud. Maybe some other day we can do mud pies!!
